- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Evelyne and Don are the new owners of the Bent Anchor as of May 2014 and I visited a couple of nights in their first opening week. Tried the special Chicken Wings the first night and the next night ordered the same in a double order, yes I loved them. We chatted laughed and had fun, they were a little slow so they had time. They know on weekends and in the summer they will be busy so they are enjoying getting to know their new neighbours who stop in for a meal. The Place was in great shape for a little shack on the rivers edge, and I will bring more friends there in the future. They are big on Gluten Free items, so my wife and son will enjoy when they visit after school is finished.By John Sorensen, March 29, 2017
